The renowned loudspeaker brand Monitor Audio has existed since 1972. The brand is distinguished by the use of the unique C-CAM (Ceremic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) cone technology developed in-house. The cone consists of a very thin magnesium / aluminum alloy with a vapor-deposited ceramic layer. This makes it the lightest and stiffest cone material on the market and provides an unprecedented "fast", easy and transparent reproduction. The "golden dome" height unit is special because of the vapor-deposited gold layer on the C-CAM cone. Because all cones are made of the same material, optimum integration is created during playback, so that only simple filters are required. And that has a positive influence on the frequency and phase characteristics.
