Thorens TD-203 beautifully done

Vinyl lovers know that setting up and turning a turntable into perfection, costs a lot of time and experience. To facilitate this and make low-threshold, the Swiss Thorens launched a new concept, the THORENS TD 203. An entry-level turntable that comes fully assembled and works directly out of the box.

With the TD 203, it takes no more than five minutes to open the box until playing the first musical notes on vinyl.

The THORENS TD 203 features the sound quality of the highly acclaimed TD 309, TD 209 and TD 206 models. And, like his brothers and sisters, this turntable was also developed in Germany. The motor is decoupled from the plinth by means of rubber elements and the bearing is made of bronze, which guarantees long life and years of listening pleasure.

The installation of the TD 203 can not be simpler: 1) Place the turntable on a rack and level its subchassis 2) Loop the belt around the subplatter 3) Place the platter on the subplatter 4) Set the correct stylus pressure And you're ready to discover your vinyl collection again.

The TD 203 comes with the new TP82 arm, a prime in this class. This new tonearm is a uni-pivot design. The TP 82's bearing is a carbide tip which rests in a complex arrangement of five very small bearing balls. This configuration allows the arm to move freely and without friction in both the vertical and the horizontal surfaces with extremely high stability. The arm tube is made of aluminum. The high-quality THORENS MC element TAS 257 is pre-installed in the tonearm.

For protection, the THORENS TD 203 comes with a specially designed 4 mm strong acrylic dust cover.
